We do, however, opine that opening the bags once in a while not only relieves pressure, but oxygenates the hootch so the yeast can continue to do its work.]

Sugar

Fruit Juice

Fruit itself, as in grapefruits or oranges

Use double plastic garbage bags

Pour

· 1 lb. sugar

· ½ loaf of bread

· 1 gallon fruit juice

· ½ dozen peeled fruit, grapefruit or oranges

Tie (seal) bags one at a time

Allow to sit a couple of days, but occasionally open once in a while to let pressure off.
