[This recipe is a word-for-word transcription and included for academic purposes only.  The Clipper does not recommend that anyone drink this stuff, nor does it take any responsibility for how badly you poison yourself if you do.  We do, however, opine that opening the bags once in a while not only relieves pressure, but oxygenates the hootch so the yeast can continue to do its work.]

 

 

Sugar

Fruit Juice

Fruit itself, as in grapefruits or oranges

 

Use double plastic garbage bags

Pour

·        1 lb. sugar

·        ½ loaf of bread

·        1 gallon fruit juice

·        ½ dozen peeled fruit, grapefruit or oranges

Tie (seal) bags one at a time

Allow to sit a couple of days, but occasionally open once in a while to let pressure off.
